As we walk across campus, we’ll pause at different spots to explore questions such as:
- How can you prepare students for an outdoor class?
- What concerns might they have, and how can you address them?
- How do you choose the right location and plan the logistics?
- What additional things do you need to think about when teaching a large group?
- How do you deal with the unexpected?
- How can you structure your outdoor class for maximum learning?
This workshop is designed for teachers of excursions, field practicals, and nature-inclusive activities.
Come along with your questions and discover new ways to take learning outside the classroom!
