Title: Training on Gen Z & generational diversity
Emma Agricola is a much sought-after speaker, trainer and moderator in the field of generational diversity, inclusion and equality. She has supported hundreds of organizations in dealing with generational differences in the workplace and conducted research into this herself.
In the training the following topics will be discussed:
- The Generation Framework: Why Can We Divide People Into Generations? Why are different generations the way they are? Why aren't generational differences the be-all and end-all? What does our own generational bubble look like?
- The different generations: what characterizes the different generations and how is this expressed? How do the generations prefer to work together, how do they deal with feedback and what are their values and beliefs?
- Generation Z: What characterizes the current generation of students, Gen Z? Why is this generation the way it is? How did this generation grow up and be raised? How does this affect her study behavior and attitude? What is the best way to guide her?
- Prejudice: what prejudices are prevalent across different generations? How do they influence our attitude as study advisors?
- Best practices, tips, tricks and concrete tools: how do other universities deal with the new generation of students? What can we learn from them? What can you do differently tomorrow? And in the long run? What tips and tricks will follow from research?
